About The Artist

If the face is viewed as a blank canvas, then the Picasso of makeup artists have been discovered with Shavon Lyon. It all began over ten years ago when Lyon was simply a hair stylist, working long hours in a salon, where her “ah ha” moment took place. She suddenly realized that there was more to beauty than just hair. And the artistry began.

Lyon joined the ever-so-popular beauty empire, MAC Cosmetics, as a Product Specialist in the Greensboro, North Carolina area. Lyon's overall love for the artistry in makeup and an unprecedented performance with MAC catapulted her next biggest venture, Fierce Make Up Artistry, which has evolved to Shavon Lyon, LLC.

Since June 2007, Lyon has created a repertoire of familiar celebrity clients, such as ESPN’s Sports Commentator, Steven A. Smith, Dr. Maya Angelou, and many more. She has also worked on the set of Stomp The Yard 2: Homecoming, FOX 8, BET Entertainment and more. She has opened a new spectrum as a Executive Beauty Editor and Director of Makeup for Carolina Style Magazine.

The Mission

Her mission is to help people feel amazing through artistry and look Fabulous in the process. Lyon currently resides in North Carolina.
